COLLEGE INFORMATION NIGHT FOR LATINO STUDENTS & FAMILIES
EUGENE- Lane Community College, Springfield Public Schools, GEAR UP, and Selco Community Credit Union will be offering a college information night for all county Latino and Latina middle and high school students on Tuesday, May 20, from 5:00-8:30 p.m. at Springfield High School. The bilingual English/Spanish event is called Infórmate, Prepárate, Edúcate para el colegio/ Inform yourself, Prepare yourself, Educate yourself for college and will feature student speakers, entertainment, snacks, and college information. There will be an awards ceremony to recognize outstanding Latino and Latina students in Lane County. Selco Community Credit Union will be giving out three $500 college scholarships to outstanding seniors. Questions may be addressed to 463-5144.
