News from Lane Family Connections at Lane Community College

CHILD CARE APPRECIATION DAY, MAY 8
EUGENE, OR - To celebrate National Child Care Provider Appreciation Day, Lane Family Connections at Lane Community College is offering a free event for Lane County child care providers on Thursday, May 8, from 6:30-9 p.m. Call 463-3307 for location and to register.
The event will include a free recycled art workshop hosted by BRING Recycling followed by a dessert social and resource fair. Child care providers can receive information from representatives of Lane Microbusiness, EC Cares, Department of Human Services, United Way, USDA Food Program, and more. Lane Community College’s Lane Family Connections is the child care resource and referral program for Lane County that bridges the gap between parents seeking child care and those who provide care to children. LFC coordinates and offers child care provider training as well as a variety of ongoing support to caregivers.
