HOW TO SET UP A CHILD CARE BUSINESS IN THE FLORENCE AREA

Florence, Ore. - Information about child care business regulations will be provided at a free workshop by Lane Family Connections on Friday, May 9 at Lane Community College in Florence, 3149 Oak Street.

Florence and Mapleton area residents who are thinking of providing child care or who are already doing so are encouraged to attend. Registered providers earn more money and qualify for more community resources like the USDA food program meal reimbursement project, whether offering full time, after school, or infant and toddler care only.

“Find out what you need to become a registered provider,” says Rita Loop of Lane Family Connections. “It may only take a couple hours of training. Exploring a new career for free couldn't be any easier.”

Lane Family Connections helps providers build a business, large or small. For more information or to register for the workshop, call 1-800-222-3290.
