LCC SETS COMMUNITY CONVERSATION FOR FLORENCE
EUGENE - The Lane Community College Board of Education invites the public to a Community Conversation in Florence on Thursday, January 31, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the LCC Florence Center, Room 103, 3149 Oak Street.
Board members attending will be chair Pat Riggs-Henson of Springfield and member Paul Holman of Florence. Lane President Mary Spilde and members of her executive staff also will attend.
The board wants to ensure that it has a clear understanding of the district’s education and training needs as the college plans for the future.
The board has held two previous Conversations, in Springfield and downtown Eugene. More conversations are planned for Cottage Grove, Oakridge, Veneta, North Eugene, and South Eugene.
