LCC Offers New Program for Business Owners in Their First Year
EUGENE, OR - Applications are being accepted for the Lane Community College Business Development Center’s KEYS to Business (knowledge and Experience is Your Success). Businesses can jump-start their new business by learning from seasoned entrepreneurs while building their network and learning from peers.
Program consists of: Monthly classroom sessions with the instructor and guest expert speakers provide valuable information and networking opportunities. The Keys to Business Program provides monthly one-on-one advising sessions, with the instructor, to discuss the specific issues new business owners encounter.
Participants are encouraged to apply now. To qualify, business owners in the early development phase of business-the first 18 months of business, value education and willing to commit time for monthly class meetings, group discussions, and coaching sessions; and willing to accept and try new business ideas.
Gary E. Smith is the instructor and coach for the program. Smith is currently operating his sixth successful small business. He has an MBA in Business Management and BA in Organizational Leadership from Franklin University.
