Horizon Air and LCC offer Aviation Career Fair
EUGENE - Horizon Air and Lane Community College will hold an aviation job fair on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the LCC Flight Technology Center at Eugene Airport. Participants will have the opportunity to talk directly with airline industry leaders and start planning a career in aviation.
The air transportation industry is expanding at unprecedented rates in both passenger service and air cargo, says Harvey Birdseye, director of the Lane Aviation Academy. “There is a critical shortage of qualified pilots and aviation maintenance technicians.”
Lane Aviation Academy offers a premier aviation maintenance technician program that has placed highly qualified people into the aviation industry since 1938. Lane’s pilot training program has trained airline professionals for 40 years. Students can earn two-year degrees or four-year degrees.
