LCC Board election results
EUGENE – Four seats on the Lane Community College Board of Education were filled in the May 15 election.
Tony McCown of Eugene was elected to the Zone 2 position which primarily represents the northern part of the college district. He succeeds Jay Bozievich of Eugene.
Pat Albright of Eugene was elected to the Zone 5 position, primarily representing central Eugene. He was appointed to the seat in April to fill the unexpired term of Larry Romine, who stepped down.
Roger Hall of Eugene was re-elected to the At-Large Position 6 seat. He was first elected in 1991 and re-elected 1995, 1999, and 2003.
Robert Ackerman of Eugene was elected to the At-Large Position 7 seat. He also served on the board from 1965-1973 and 1999-2003. He succeeds Michael Rose of Eugene.
All positions are for four-year terms from July 1, 2007, to June 30, 2011.
Also serving on the board through June 2009 are Paul Holman of Florence in the Zone 1 seat representing the western part of the college district; Pat Riggs-Henson of Springfield in the Zone 3 position representing the eastern part of the college district; and Susie Johnston of Pleasant Hill in the Zone 4 seat representing the southeastern part of college district.
