Free Latino Family Conference for spanish-speaking families
The 8th Annual Latino Family Conference will be held Saturday, April 21st from 12:30 - 5:30 pm at Springfield Middle School. Parents will have the opportunity to attend workshops on nutrition, children's educational issues, access to healthcare and much more. Over 35 local social service agencies will be available to share information about community resources. Child care for younger children and a trip to Splash! wave pool for older kids will be provided. At day's end children and parents will be reunited for a celebration that will include a tamale dinner and musical entertainment. Free bus passes for families to attend the event are available. Volunteers to help at the event are still needed.

VENGA A LA OCTAVA CONFERENCIA PARA FAMILIAS LATINAS
El Sábado 21 de Abril a las 12 mediodía
En la escuela secundaria de Springfield. Traiga a sus niños y nosotros se los cuidaremos, a los mas grandecitos los llevaremos a la piscina de Splash. Habrá sesiones informativas y talleres sobre inmigración, nutrición, salud, la educación de sus niños, y más. Venga y pregunte a las 35 agencias sociales sobre las calificaciones para diferentes servicios.
Lo mejor es que habrá, sorteos, comida con tamales y entretenimiento musical. Todo es gratis. Si necesita pases de buses gratis e información llame a Rita al teléfono 463-3306 y deje su mensaje. No se pierda la conferencia con sabor Latino.
