LANE COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOUNDATION OFFERS HUNDREDS OF SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
EUGENE - If you think you don’t qualify for financial aid, think again: You may be eligible for one of hundreds of student scholarships offered through the Lane Community College Foundation.
Are you a dental hygiene student at Lane Community College? A single mother returning to school? A student at Lane’s Florence Outreach Center? A GED graduate from Lane’s Adult Basic and Secondary Education Program? If so, there’s a scholarship opportunity for you. Last year, the Foundation awarded 494 scholarships worth a total of $645,384 to help keep education accessible to area residents.
A list of scholarships appears in Lane's Scholarship Opportunities book, now available on Lane's main campus in Career and Employment Services, Building 1, Room 102, and from Lane County high school guidance counselors. Most scholarships have an application deadline of March 12 for awards received in the fall. The following helpful resources are available on the Lane Community College website:
