Bioneers conference offers solutions to environmental and social issues
EUGENE - Registration is open for the Oregon Bioneers Conference to be held October 20-22 in the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, Lane Community College main campus in Eugene, 4000 E. 30th Avenue.
The conference and 16 others in throughout the country will connect live via satellite to the 17th Annual Bioneers Conference in San Rafael, CA. Plenary speakers include Paul Stamets, James Hillman, Amy Goodman, Paul Hawken, Spencer Beebe, Michael Pollen and others.
Each gathering offers local speakers, workshops, presentations, forums, films, and dialogue. Topics vary from science to spirituality, farming to business, and art to engineering. The focus is on creative social strategies to restore community, justice and democracy, says conference organizer Jeremy Olsen.
