Student work to be showcased at LCC art gallery
EUGENE - The Lane Community College Art Department Student Juried Art Show opened April 26 and will run through May 12. An awards ceremony and reception will be held Thursday, May 4, at noon in the gallery. This annual exhibition is open to Lane students entering work created in the 2005-06 academic year. Anne Korn from Raven Frame Works is this year's judge.
The Lane Community College Graphic Design Graduates Show will be on exhibit May 17 to June 14. This is the 25th year of the graphic design program. A graduation ceremony and reception for the graphic design graduates will be held Wednesday, June 14 from 4-6 p.m. in the gallery. The graduates' portfolios will be available for review at the reception.
The Lane Community College Art Department Gallery is located on the first floor of Building 11, main campus in Eugene, 4000 E. 30th Avenue. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays. Admission is free. For more information call 463-5409.
