Coming up in April at the BizCenter
EUGENE, OR - The Business Development Center and Employee Training at Lane Community College offers six workshops in April:
Innovators' Open Forum: Bring your new product or idea to this twice-monthly forum for inventors. Time: 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 11. Facilitator: BizCenter advisor Jon Broome. Cost: $5 at the door. Pre-registration is requested; call 463-5255.
.NET Programming: Learn to use the powerful .NET platform to create event-driven client/server applications. This two-module series covers .NET Basic and Intermediate skills. Module 1 starts on April 14. Time: 1 to 5 p.m., Friday, April 14 to May 5. Cost: $259 per 16-hour module; or register for the series for $419. Instructor: Dave Jinkerson.
Database Administration with SQL: Learn to use the Microsoft SQL Server database platform to manage relational data sets and increase productivity. Time: 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 12 to May 10. Cost: $119 for 15 hours. Instructor: Dave Jinkerson.
Data Management with Microsoft Access Series: Get organized with Access in this two-module series covering basic and intermediate skills. Module 1, Basics, begins on April 13. Time: 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, April 13 to May 4. Location: Downtown Center, 1059 Willamette. Cost: $108 per six-hour module, or register for the series for just $149. Instructor: Dave Jinkerson.
Promoting Your Small Business: Learn practical techniques to market and promote your business. Time: 2 to 5 p.m., Thursday, April 13. Cost: $49. Instructor: Wendell Anderson, owner of Northstar Writing and Editing Services.
Taking Charge of Your Web Site: If you've got a Web site but don't know what to do with it, this workshop's for you. Time: 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, April 11. Cost: $52. Instructor: Kin Lane, owner of Original Web Solutions, www.originalwebsolutions.com.
