Annual career fair will bring 40 employers to LCC to meet with students
EUGENE - In step with the growing economy, Lane Community College presents a Career Fair on Wednesday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, main campus, 4000 East 30th Avenue, Eugene. Lane President Mary Spilde will open the event followed by a keynote speaker.
This free, exciting event is in its 16th year connecting Lane students, alumni and community members with employers. Activities include a Dress for Success fashion show, and an employer panel. Students may enter to win one of four scholarships and spin the wheel for door prizes.
More than 40 employers representing many industries of Lane County are expected to participate.
The goal is to bring together employers and job seekers from the college and the community. This year's Career Fair is a partnership between Career and Employment Services, Cooperative Education, and Workforce Development.
