Art gallery presents Clay Lane exhibit
EUGENE - The Art Department Gallery at Lane Community College presents Clay Lane from February 22 to March 16. A lecture and reception will be held Tuesday, March 14, at 3 p.m. in the gallery.
Clay Lane features work from past and present LCC ceramics program faculty, students and artists. The exhibit also will include pieces by four guest artists, John Glick, Susanne Stephenson, Matt Metz, and Katrina Chaytor, who will present at a pre-conference sponsored by Lane’s Ceramic Art Student Association March 6-7 prior to the 40th annual National Council for Education in the Ceramic Arts conference in Portland March 8-11 (see 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/artad/ceramics). Simultaneous ceramics exhibits are scheduled in Eugene at Opus6ix, White Lotus and DIVA.
The Art Department Gallery at Lane Community College is located in Building 11, main campus in Eugene, 4000 E. 30th Avenue. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. For more information call (541) 463-5409.
