Collaborations in Rhythm dance concert offers funky modern, jazz, hip hop, and salsa
EUGENE - The Dance program at Lane Community College presents the annual dance concert, Collaborations in Rhythm, a concert of jazz, hip hop, funky modern and salsa dances featuring dance groups and classes from LCC as well as the Eugene area. This collaborative concert, coordinated this year by Cheryl Lemmer, part-time dance faculty at Lane, takes place in the Performance Hall, Building 6, LCC main campus, Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 adults, $6 students. Tickets may be purchased at the Lane Ticket office by phone at (541) 463-5202 or at the door beginning 45 minutes before each concert.
This concert will deliver an evening of high-powered dance featuring the Lane Dance Company (a selected group of LCC dance students) and works choreographed by Lane full-time dance faculty Kim Vetter as well as part-time dance faculty Cheryl Lemmer, Anita Sanford, Allison Franco and Florabelle Moses. The ZAPP Dancers, a popular Eugene area dance company, directed by Cindy Zreliak and Cheryl Lemmer, are also on the program with two numbers that demonstrate their high-energy hip-hop style.
