BizCenter offers November workshops
EUGENE, OR - Look for the following workshops at the BizCenter in the next two weeks. Unless otherwise noted, all classes and workshops are offered at the Lane Community College Business Development Center at 1445 Willamette St., Suite 1, in Eugene. Balanced Scorecards Lab provides an opportunity to develop a new strategic management approach using Harvard-developed balanced scorecards in a lab setting. Cost is $195. Instructor is Ed Warnock. Offered 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday, November 14, at the Lane Downtown Center, 1059 Willamette.
Business Solutions with Excel, Module 2: Formulas and Functions focuses on advanced features of Excel, including using multiple worksheets, filtering data, working with charts, and using named ranges. Offered Thursday, November 17 and December 1, 1:30-4:30 p.m., at the Lane Downtown Center, 1059 Willamette. Cost for the six-hour workshop is $79. Instructor is Patricia Hine.
Frontline Leadership Series, Module 4: Giving Recognition explores how recognition affects employees' performance and gives tools that help create and sustain a productive workplace. Offered on Thursday, November 17, 1-5 p.m., at the Downtown Center. Cost is $119. Instructor is Kathleen Hoeg.
PowerPoint: Sharpen Your Skills takes PowerPoint skills to the next level for more effective business presentations. Offered on Thursday, November 17, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Cost is $81. Instructor is Nancy Bauer. Basic PowerPoint skills are required.
