Basketball casino night fundraiser set for May 20
EUGENE, OR - Casino Night, a benefit fundraiser for men's and women's basketball at Lane Community College, will be held Friday May 20, from 6-9:30 p.m., in the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, main campus in Eugene at 4000 E. 30th Avenue.
Games will include black jack, Caribbean stud poker, roulette, and craps. There will be free hors d'oeuvres and a no-host beer and wine bar. Participants will get $120 in “funny money” with tickets purchased in advance, or $100 with tickets purchased at the door. Tickets are $20 ($10 for Lane students) and limited to age 21 or older. Participants may cash in their “winnings” for raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes. For more information, call men's basketball head coach Matt Swagerty at 463-5553.
