College information night for Latino students and families
EUGENE - Lane Community College and Springfield Public Schools are offering a college information night for all county Latino/a middle and high school students, on Wednesday, May 11, from 5:30-8 p.m. at Springfield High School. The bilingual English/Spanish event is called Infórmate, Prepárate, Edúcate para el colegio/ or Inform yourself, Prepare yourself, Educate yourself for college, and will feature student speakers, entertainment, snacks, and college information. There will be an awards ceremony to recognize outstanding Latino/a students in Lane County. Questions may be addressed to 954-9798 or 463-5688.
