Conference on families presents how adults can help deal with bullying
EUGENE, OR - All adults interested in working on the issues of bullying are invited to attend the 12th Annual Conference on Families on Saturday, March 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Center for Meeting and Learning, Building 19, Lane Community College main campus, 4000 East 30th Avenue, Eugene. Lunch is included in the pre-registration discounted fee of $65. Pre-registration is important to ensure receiving a speaker packet and a lunch reservation. Last date to register is March 8.
At this event, we will look at the issues of bullying from the inside out and show how we can bully-proof our schools. Learn skills needed to help students who bully and students who have been bullied. If you like to laugh and learn at the same time, come and listen to Sally Northway Ogden, national expert on the subject of bullying and author of "Words Will Never Hurt Me." For a brochure, leave a voice-mail message including name and e-mail or mailing address at (541) 463-3283.
