Lane culinary arts program accepting applications

EUGENE - Applications to the Lane Community College Culinary Arts two-year degree program are now available at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/culinary/ or by calling the program office at (541) 463-3503. The program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation.

Applications will be accepted beginning March 1 for fall 2005 entry into the program. Completed applications should be submitted to Lane Community College Culinary Arts, 4000 East 30th Avenue, Building 19, Room 204, Eugene, OR, 97405. The selection process begins March 1 and ends June 30, or until the program fills.

Selection will be based on minimum placement test scores, completed questionnaire, and work in the industry.

The Lane Culinary Arts program is one of only two ACF-accredited two-year culinary programs in Oregon. Students gain hands-on experience by running the student-run restaurant on main campus, The Renaissance Room, and participating in events on and off campus.
