ESL soccer tournament will raise funds for tsunami relief
EUGENE, OR - English as a Second Language students at Lane Community College will hold a Tsunami Relief Indoor Soccer Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, February 19 and 20, in the main campus gym, Building 5, 4000 E. 30th Avenue in Eugene.
This event is open to all participants and spectators. Teams and individuals may sign up in advance by calling 337-7807 or by arriving at 9:30 a.m. the day of the tournament.
Donations of $3 for students and $5 for non-students is suggested. All proceeds will be given to the American Red Cross for the tsunami relief effort.
Lane's ESL students come from more than 40 nations.
