Scholarship Booklet offers many options for Lane students
Deadline to apply is March 1
EUGENE, OR – Students enrolled at Lane Community College have hundreds of scholarships available to them. The 2005-2006 Scholarship Opportunities Booklet lists nearly 300 different awards ranging from $150 to $5,000. This booklet is available at Career and Employment Services on the main campus in Building 1, and at high school counseling offices throughout Lane County. Scholarship listings and application forms are also available on the following website: 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu/foundation.
Eligibility criteria vary widely. Some require enrollment in a certain program, financial need, academic merit, or other factors. From medical office assisting to flight technology, there is a scholarship available. Scholarships from $500 to $5000 are available to assist single mothers. Awards are made not only for academic excellence, but also to support average students with strong career goals. One scholarship listed for high school graduates can be renewed over a four-year period for a total award amount of $14,000. The scholarship booklet contains all of the awards available and the complete application forms.
The application deadline is March 1.
