Ceramics and culinary students to sell soup bowls with vouchers to raise
funds for long house
![]() |
Ceramics instructor Erik Land surveys unfinished pots made by his students. The pots will be sold to help raise funds to build a long house at Lane. |
Ceramics instructor Erik Land came up with the idea. He said the effort was not a class assignment and that the students contributed their own time and talent to help the long house project.
Lane students
and staff have worked to raise funds for a long house for several years.
The facility will provide classroom space, culturally specific meeting
and gathering space, and be a resource for students, staff and the community.
Friends of the Long House fundraising committee members will be available
on Wednesday to provide information about the project.
If all the bowls don’t sell, the sale will be repeated on Thursday,
same time and place.
