Native American students to rally for long house

EUGENE - Native American students of Lane Community College are holding a rally for the proposed long house project on Wednesday, November 5, at 12:30 p.m., weather permitting; on main campus, northwest corner, overlooking the track and field area.

The event is focused on informing the people of Eugene, Lane County and the State of Oregon of the need for this worthy and much needed project. It is not only for Indian people but also for all students who attend Lane. Students want the building to hold gatherings, display Native American art and history, and to share diverse languages.
