LCC registration goes online only beginning June 2
EUGENE - Use the web instead of the telephone to register for classes
at Lane Community College beginning June 2 when ExpressLane replaces telephone
registration.
ExpressLane is a self-service online tool for students to register for
classes, monitor financial aid status, pay bills using credit cards or
checks, print class schedules and unofficial transcripts, update home
and e-mail addresses and telephone numbers; and order and pay for official
transcripts.
Online registration is becoming the preferred method for students at colleges across the nation, says registrar Helen Garrett. Students appreciate the enhanced efficiencies of a self-service tool such as ExpressLane. It also frees up more staff time for students who want personal assistance with registration.
ExpressLane assistants will be available to help with registration from June 2 through June 23 at the Students First! Center in building 1 on main campus at 4000 East 30th Avenue, and at the downtown center at 1059 Willamette Street, both in Eugene.
Anyone without Internet access can use computer labs at any Lane location. Computers available for ExpressLane will be clearly marked.
Registration for returning students begins June 2. New student registration begins June 4. The summer class schedule will arrive in homes and at all Lane locations about May 24.
