Child care trainings offered: Florence and surrounding area
EUGENE - The Lane Family Connections Program at Lane Community College will offer two opportunities for child care providers in the Florence area.
- Wednesday, January 8, 9-11:30 a.m., LCC Florence Campus, "Family Child Care Overview.” Staff from Lane Family Connections and the state Child Care Division will offer training and information on becoming a registered Family Child Care Provider.
- Wednesday, January 8, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., LCC Florence Campus, "Food Handlers Testing.” LFC staff will offer testing time for the food handlers card.
Both sessions will be held at the LCC Florence campus, 3149 Oak St. Room 159. Participants must preregister by calling Lane Family Connections toll free at (800) 222-3290 or (541) 463-3954.
