College financial aid and scholarship workshop offered
EUGENE - Lane Community College is sponsoring a workshop on how to obtain free money for college, on Saturday, January 18, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Lane’s main campus in Eugene, Building 17, Room 308. Topics include print materials and computer databases for scholarship research; understanding the Federal financial aid process; Oregon Student Assistance Commission scholarships; and how to organize a plan for your scholarship search. The information will be applicable to Lane and other colleges and universities. Participants should bring a lunch. To register, call the automated telephone registration system ClassLine at 747-0644 and use registration number 5696, or call LCC Continuing Education at 463-5252.
