Food Handler's Testing

ONLINE: The online child care food handler's training provides the curriculum and testing for the food handler certificate. Learner can print their own certificate that is valid statewide for three years from the date they pass the exam.

Family Connections of Lane and Douglas Counties Food Safety Training for Child Care Providers This is a self study, by mail program. You must prepay for the materials and self study packet. Cost is $10, which can be paid in person, over the phone with a credit card, or through the mail. Oregon Restaurant Association BY MAIL: The Food Handler Certificate by mail packet includes a food safety manual and test materials. All you need to do is study the manual, take the test (a proctor or "witness" is required), and mail the completed test back to OREF for scoring. Oregon Food Handler Certificate will be mailed directly to you! Convenient and FAST! (no classroom needed) Purchase multiple packs to keep on hand for new hires Both the study manual and test are available in English or Spanish.
