League Conferences

Each year, the League coordinates two important national events, which are of interest to anyone associated with community colleges. They include the Conference on Information Technology and the Innovations conference.

The Conference on Information Technology is the premier showcase of the use of information technology to improve teaching and learning, student services, and institutional management in community colleges. In existence for over 18 years, CIT features a technologically sophisticated and topically diverse program that enables educators to explore and expand their use of technology.

The Innovations conference’s aim is to inspire innovation and change in all areas of community college education. Conference sessions encourage and facilitate student and organizational learning through innovation, experimentation, and institutional transformation.

Lane faculty and staff are encouraged to attend these conferences. Faculty may be eligible for funds to attend as a presenter or an attendee. Details are available at the Faculty Professional Development website.
