Quit Tobacco

LCC Quit Tobacco

Be Prepared for a Tobacco Free
Lane Community College Campus!

Improve your health, and be months ahead of the changes.  Below you will see some excellent resources for quitting smoking. You have probably heard of the new “stop smoking pill” as well.  Many of our patients are asking about it.  It is called Chantix.  You can log on to www.chantix.com to get more information if you are interested.  You can then make an appointment at the Health Clinic to explore your personal tobacco cessation needs and appropriate treatment.  If you think that you want a prescription for Chantix, have no insurance, cannot afford the prescription, and really want to save time, go to www.needymeds.com. , print the materials for Chantix, and bring them to your visit.  Follow all of the instructions on the form, and be prepared to show proof of income.  We want to assist you in this endeavor.  We will give you all the support you need to quit your tobacco addiction.

Find out more about LCC becoming a tobacco free campus Fall term 2010.
