Nominate an Outstanding Faculty Member for a Faculty Recognition Award!
What is a Faculty Recognition Award? Each term, Lane Community College recognizes faculty who have made outstanding contributions to academic life on campus. Faculty members include classroom and online instructors, cooperative education coordinators, librarians, Health Center medical specialists, and counselors.
How do I make a nomination? To nominate any faculty member at Lane, please click on the "Nominations" link below. In the form provided, please write the name of the person you are nominating, along with your own name and contact information. Then, in the larger box, please write a thoughtful message about how the person supports Lane's Core Values in their work with students, and contributes to Lane Community College's new Vision statement "Transforming Lives Through Learning." The list of Core Values is on the nomination site. Please remember to click "Submit" when you're done!

Spring Term 2011 Faculty Recognition Awards Presented
Thanks to everyone who nominated an outstanding faculty member for a Faculty Recognition Award.
The spring term winners are:
Jane Batterson, Health Professions
Daphne Gabrieli, Language, Literature, & Communication
Ahmad Rajabzadeh, Mathematics & Science
Janet Welch, Health Professions
All award recipients were treated to a surprise award ceremony in their classrooms, and presented with a framed certificate honoring their achievements, along with a gift certificate for two to Lane's Renaissance Room.
