Steps to Enroll in Credit Classes - for New and Transfer Students

You must have completed steps 1 through 4 as needed below before attending Student Orientation, Advising & Registration (SOAR).

Step 1: Create an Email Address if you don't already have one

Step 2: Apply for Admission/Readmission

Step 3: Apply for Financial Aid
Due to the unprecedented increase in the number of financial aid applications being processed, it is taking 2-8 weeks to process aid awards once all documents have been received.  We urge you to submit your financial aid application immediately.

Step 4: Complete your Placement Testing (or get a waiver)  (schedule after receiving your L number)

Step 5: Schedule a Student Orientation, Advising & Registration (SOAR) session Only after attending SOAR, may you participate in registration, step 6 below.

• SOAR includes academic advising and new student information.
• An optional Money Matters workshop will be offered on the same day.
  

Step 6: Register for Classes
Instructions will be provided at SOAR
