It was decided that the note taker would email the minutes to TACT. Minutes will be approved at the beginning of the next meeting. After approval, the minutes will be posted to the Web.

Linda Grenz was unanimously accepted as a new member of TACT. New member nominations will remain open until November.

To manage the packets that TACT members need to participate in meetings, Stephen will prepare the meeting packets.

The TACT Vision and Guiding Principles were reviewed and amended. Stephen will create a draft and will forward to TACT members so that members can vote on the amended version at the next meeting.

Technology Fund Update:
· Decisions on Technology funding requests will be made by the December 12th meeting for those requests received by October 31.  The requests will be emailed and packets will be provided at the meeting for those who did not print them off from the email.
· Math had put in a request for funding for a full-time salaried staff person. It was re-affirmed that the fund would not pay for salaried positions.
· Some students are exempt from paying the technology fee. Linda DeWitt will determine the number of students who are exempt, why they are exempt, and what the financial impact of that exemption is.

LASR Update:  Staff training is going on for over 250 employees.  The LASR team is pushing for a clean payroll in January.
