1.   TACT reviewed applications for membership.  The group reached consensus to add 3 members, which will bring the total membership to 10, which is consistent with the goals in the TACT charter.  The members selected will also contribute to the goal of balanced representation in the following five areas:  services to students, curriculum development, professional development, information systems and facilities planning.

2.   New members selected are:

• Patrick Lanning
• Barbara McIntire
• Lida Herberger
  

3.   An informal discussion followed the selection of new members, and two issues emerged that TACT may want to address in the future.  They are:

• Training or orientations for faculty about security and usage issues when technology is permanently installed in classrooms.
• Exploring ways that students in a discipline could have access to unsupervised lab spaces without having the space open to the entire community.
