WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE OUR PLANET

Are you worried about the future of our planet as you learn more about global climate change, unsustainable business practices, over consumption of resources, melting sea ice, loss of biodiversity, social injustice and the health impacts that it has on all life forms? Would you like to be involved in helping ensure that every student who attends Lane Community College becomes literate in these topics? If so, please join the Sustainability and Learning Committee. We are working on a plan to integrate eco-literacy into all discipline areas at Lane. We're also trying to increase the college's course offerings in eco-literacy and provide more options for students who want to make these important issues a part of their life's work.
