How to Checkout Equipment
Equipment is only available to students that are currently enrolled in Multimedia and Photography classes. >> Equipment Check Out Policy
STEP 1 – SIGN UP IN ADVANCE
Sign up IN ADVANCE to the Counter’s Open time block located inside the reservation books labeled (Audio, Video, Lighting, etc.) If you do not sign up IN ADVANCE, you will be served at the window AFTER all advance reservations are served
STEP 2 – Fill out yellow card COMPLETELY
FRONT SIDE MUST HAVE:
- Name in full, Printed legibly
- L#
- PHONE #
- DATE checking OUT
- TIME checking OUT
- DATE due IN
- TIME due IN
BACK SIDE MUST HAVE:
- All the items you wish checked in the LEFT column (place a check or X)
- Do not fill out any other columns but the first left.
STEP 3 – GIVE THE CARD TO THE CHECKOUT OPERATOR TO GET GEAR
- Operator will verify that you have reserved the equipment by checking the reservation books.
- Operator will collect the equipment and note the INVENTORY NUMBER on the Equipment Check Out Card.
Step 4 – INSPECT EQUIPMENT TO ENSURE ALL PARTS ARE THERE AND WORKING

Sign the card. This is a contract and you are claiming complete responsibility for the equipment while it is in your possession.
Step 5 – Returning equipment
- Ensure all parts are included, clean, coiled and stored properly in kits.
- Sign the card showing you have returned the items
- Ensure equipment checkout operator also signs to show you have returned the items.
- If you are late returning equipment, you WILL BE FINED.
- If you run into conflict call us immediately.
- If you are negligent and cause loss or damage, you will be billed for repair or replacement of the gear.
- YOU are responsible to ensure all parts you sign for are there when you pick up and return the gear.
