Research Databases, Online Encyclopedias and Dictionaries
If you're a Lane student, you have access to thousands of magazines and newspapers from any computer.
Magazines and Periodicals
LCC Library subscribes to approximately 195 magazines and journals in print. The current issue of each title is available in the reading lounge on the first floor of the Library, across from the Laptop service desk. Older issues are kept at the Circulation desk, and kept for 5 years.
Online magazine and journals subscriptions are accessed through licensed research databases. The LCC Library licenses about 40 academic databases each containing hundreds or thousands of titles. To check which database covers a specific title, use the Magazine and Journal locator to determine how to access the title you are looking for in print and/or electronic form.
