Creating web pages at Lane - 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu

Important things to remember:

• You will want to refer to the Web Information and Resources to view the guildelines about creating and maintaining web pages at Lane (2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu):
• LCC templates are required.
• You must make sure ALL your web pages at 2011sitearchive.lanecc.edu are ADA compliant as well as following other technical requirements.
• Keep your web directory cleaned up, keeping only current files on the server.
• Due to security issues, DO NOT have ANY .exe files (executable) on the server.
• Any online forms that request personal data must only be used through a secure server, not sent via an email form. Contact Brad Hinson with questions regarding online forms and personal data, x3340.
• Optimize your images to make them as small as possible to speed up performance of your web pages. If you need assistance with preparing images for web use, email the images you want optimized/resized to webrequest@lanecc.edu, and indicate the url of the page they should be added to.
