Prospective Students
Lane Community College offers high quality 2+2 transfer programs in fields such as Business, Engineering, Art, Journalism and many others as well as nationally accredited two-year degrees and certificate programs, and International English for study abroad and academic preparation. Attending Lane and transferring to an Oregon Public University gives students the advantages of an extra year of Optional Practical Training, smaller classes which means more attention from faculty, and can save students about $30,000. Lane is a member of the prestigious League for Innovation. International Programs offers support services to students from over 110 countries including airport pick up, orientation, registration, immigration, housing and homestays, and sponsors activities for students to visit local, regional and statewide places of interest. In the fall of 2012, Lane will open on campus student housing in apartment style suites.
