Cooperative Education

ES 280: Cooperative Education: Ethnic Studies

Cooperative Education for Ethnic Studies is an optional elective. Students have an opportunity to integrate theory and knowledge gained in the classroom with practical experience in the field. Co-op students are encouraged to work with local service agencies that serve underrepresented minority communities, or organizations that operate from a social justice perspective. In this course, students may develop skills, explore career options and network with professionals while earning credit toward a degree. Students may participate on a full or part-time basis.
