Free Application for Federal Student Aid

WARNING:
You should never pay someone to apply for financial aid. It’s free at fafsa.gov

Submit FAFSA online as early as possible. See Financial Aid date and deadlines.

What happens after you submit a FAFSA?
Federal Processor: within 3 days the Department of Education’s organization will email the Student Aid Report (SAR) to the applicant. The Student Aid Report (SAR) is a summary of the information reported on the FAFSA and sent to the student.

LCC: will draws down the FAFSA information every Monday.
Review your Financial Aid information on myLane to complete the necessary requirements.
myLane – Lane’s secure self-service web tool.

33% of Lane students will be selected to prove their income.
