Transfer Student Information
Computer Science majors can complete their general education requirements and most of their lower division (100 and 200 level courses) Computer Science courses at Lane Community College.
Two options for transfer:
- Direct transfer - transfer to a 4 year
school without earning a degree at Lane. University of Oregon Direct Transfer Plan.
- Earn the AAOT (Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree) and then transfer. For more information about AAOT requirements and AAOT course and degree information, see Lane's Course and Degree Information. For general information about the AAOT or if you need assistance in planning a transfer program, see Lane's Transfer Program.
Note: The AAOT is the only transfer degree Lane offers. Choosing the right classes for transferring, especially to out-of-state schools, can be complicated. It's helpful to examine a College Catalog or Bulletin from the school you're planning to transfer to. For additional information, contact the counselor for Computer Science majors.
