WORKFORCE TRAINING
October 30, 2000 Update
WATER/SEWER OPPERATIONAL AT PIZZA HUT.
During the summer, construction activities that took place at the Workforce Training Center (WFTC) site damaged a sewer line that serviced the Training and Development facilities. While the bond office wrestled over a feasible remedy to the situation, T&D's personnel and clients patiently made use of accommodations in the Apprenticeship building. After investigating multiple routes for a temporary or permanent line, and in light of up and coming construction on the WFTC, it was decided to locate temporary water/sewer tanks for the Pizza Hut just east of the building. The tanks will be removed in a few months when permanent hook-ups are made. The permanent lines will specifically accommodate the Pizza Hut and two adjacent modulars, plus any future development that occurs in the general location.
