October 23, 2000 Update
WORKFORCE TRAINING DOCUMENTS NEAR COMPLETION.
Construction documents for the entire Workforce Training Center are approximately 85% complete. Part of the finalization process of the documents has been the valuable review by LCCís Trades. Bid documents are scheduled to go out early in November. Turning to the site, the white pipe you may have seen stretching from the south wall to the west side foundation of Apprenticeship is performing a vital service. The pipe is channeling water from Lot E into an established roof drainage system of the Apprenticeship building, thereby preventing erosion. Naturally, permanent drainage will be established when construction activities commence in January.
