WORKFORCE TRAINING
September 12, 2000 Update
EXPECT TEMPORARY SHUTDOWNS FOR WTC WORK.
Although excavation is complete, in order for activities to proceed on the Workforce Training Center site, a conflict with existing electrical and water piping and those slated for the new facility could be addressed as soon as this weekend. Buildings that will be affected include Business, Apprenticeship, Industrial Tech, Training & Development, and Childcare. Currently, engineers are working to refine work tactics so as to minimize the length of disruptions. While the duration of the shutdown is expected to be minimal, as soon as specific dates and times are known, a campus wide alert will be issued.
