National Career Readiness Certificate
The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) is a nationally-recognized credential that can be earned after taking three standardized tests in Reading for Information, Locating Information, and Applied Math. Earning the NCRC demonstrates that you have skills needed by employers nationwide.
In order to earn a certificate, you must score at a level 3 or above (out of a total of 7 levels) on all three tests. If you score at a level 5 or above, you have demonstrated that you have skill levels needed for 90% of more than 15,000 jobs included in nationwide studies.
NCRC testing is free, and normally occurs over a two-day period. Each of the three tests takes about an hour.
To be eligible, you must be registered with WorkSource Lane and take the initial skill review assessments (WIN tests) in reading and math.

NCRC testing is offered twice a week at WorkSource Lane at LCC and three times a week at WorkSource Lane at 2510 Oakmont Way.
The NCRC is a requirement for some scholarships and an important step in preparing for your future.

Cancellation Policy: Effective immediately, please give us 24 hours advance notice to cancel your appointment. If do not contact us to cancel, you will not be able to sign up to take the test again for 30 days.
