The Bridge to Certified Nursing Assistant 1 (Bridge to CNA 1) is a two-part training. It is designed for an individual who is interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant but first needs preparation in reading, writing and math before starting the CNA 1 training. The Bridge class, which will be held during Winter term, will help students develop skills in reading comprehension, career-related math, and writing. The CNA training, which will be held during Spring term, will provide students with the skills to perform basic level nursing care.
This no-cost training opportunity is funded by a Community-Based Job Training (CBJT)grant through the U.S. Department of Labor.
