Tutor Central is located across from the library in Center 210.
Enter Tutor Central by walking past the Academic Learning Skills counter. A Log in computer is located on your left where you can easily access Expresslane to register for any of the free tutoring CRN numbers. This allows you access to tutoring for the entire term. The table beside the front computer has signs posted with individual subject areas and when tutors are available for that subject.

Find a comfortable seat near the large windows enjoying a great view of the hills to the north of campus. Study independently in this naturally lit space, form study groups by bringing classmates in to use either of the two group study rooms. Get exceptional help from peer tutors in the following subjects:

Computers: CS120 and other general needs, including Moodle.
Enter the computer lab in room 205, log onto a computer and get started on your work. By logging in with your L number you can save documents directly  to your "my documents." These will be available to you at any computer attached to the Lane student network for the duration of the term. When you need help, change the yellow cup to the red one. Remember to log out before you go.

Math 10
Toward the front of Tutor Central are two tables with a math help sign hanging overhead. Join the community of math learners and begin to work on your math. The tutor will be with you as he or she moves around the table.

Psychology
Students can discuss the concepts introduced in Psychology classes for a few hours a week. Check the schedule at the front table for specifics of where and when.

Speech & Voice and Articulation
Check the table for hours and location.

Writing
Toward the Northwest corner of the room look for a pink sign hanging from the ceiling that says "Writing - sign in here" Sign your name on the sign in sheet, find a seet and reread your essay to yourself, as you wait. Your name will be called when it is your turn.

Hint: Plan ahead! There is frequently a long line of students, so plan to wait at least 30 minutes. But you have plenty of homework to do, right? Bring it. Make your time count.

All tutors can help with study skills and encouragement.
A quiet study room is also available if you need less distractions.
