Timely Tips: Mid-term Madness (weeks 4-7) - return to Timely Tips index
- If you have not registered for next term do it now.
- Keep using your time management and organization systems.
- Establish study groups to prepare for mid-term tests.
- Utilize any additional resources that are available for your classes (Moodle or other on-line resources, tutoring, study guides, study groups).
- Visit the Tutor Centers regularly.
- Go to every class (even if you don’t have your homework done!)
- Check your grade status in each course; use the syllabus and your coursework, or the online grading system in Moodle.
- Talk to your teachers if you are concerned about your progress! They can help you figure out exactly what you need to do to get back on track.
- Meet with your assigned Academic Advisor or Counselor if you are considering making any changes to your term schedule (changing grade option, dropping a class, etc.).
- Are you eating well, getting enough sleep, making time for exercise, and balancing your workload with some time for relaxation and fun?
