Student Success: Win-Win and DQP Breakout Session III: Case Study: Specific Discipline - Mathmatics This session will use a bachelors degree in mathematics as an example to talk about what sort of effect the DQPs might have if applied to mathematics. The session will include (using the University of Oregon as an example) the desired outcomes of a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, typical career choices of students who receive a Bachelor’s Degrees in Mathematics. The discussion will include how the elements described in the Lumina DQP document for Bachelor’s Degrees might be meaningfully deployed as part of a mathematics major. The learning outcome should be a first-pass understanding of what the costs and benefits might be for implementing the DQP for Bachelors
